Sunday, January 10, 2010. 10:10 a.m. A young man in his early twenties dressed well just rang our doorbell and asked us if there are any people in our community who are hard of hearing or hearing impaired. He attempted to use minimal sign language. We told him that we did not know and he left. He crossed the street and entered into a burgundy colored 4 door sedan with a male driver. They drove off and went to the other end of Waterchase where the recent home invasion took place. Please be aware.

I agree with MEF, we need to hold someone accountable for the cameras not working if that is the case. I plan on going to this special meeting and finding out what actually happened and what can be done to prevent something like this from happening or being able to use the technology we paid for in it's intended use. We either need a new management company or a board that can hold the management's company feet to the fire like it needs to be. PS ;The landscape Co needs to cut the lawn in some different directions once in a while. They have completely ruined numerous common areas in the neighborhood by using the big heavy machinery and cutting with the same patterns. You can break your ankle if you walk through the lawn in some areas.

Recently a PB a family was held at gun point and the wife pistol whipped by the gun men. After speaking with the police in the neighborhood I was told by JSO that the cameras were not working. In fact, it was a mix of luck and some hard work by the police that justice was served (PS Special thanks to Charles). I try to respect the efforts of our board; however I am finding it difficult to excuse the failure to maintain these cameras. We increase our dues every year, and yet not one letter went out to notify us that the cameras were not working. There’s a fine line between being careful and fear. There are clearly too many vehicles, which are obviously not residents roaming our streets, and solicitors banging on doors to sell magazine subscriptions. I did not move into PB thinking that I was going to be robbed if I left my garage open while I walked inside for an ice tea. Home invasions, stolen property, non residents at our parks, and now forced entry with use of a deadly weapon. Enough talk. MEF – A concerned resident of the Bay.

I would very much like to see the sign at the front of the neighborhood changed to read "Merry Christmas". Happy Holidays just does not get it. Christ is the reason we celebrate this time of year and I dont particularly care about being politically correct.....He is the reason for the season......Our country was founded on our beliefs in Jesus Christ....Take a stand Pablo Bay..............Thanks...

Hello again, is there anybody who addresses the coments that are posted here? There should be a open forum or blog where we can post miscelanous topics, post ads offering services or just wanting to start a group and "feedback" is not the place. Thanks.

I have had a horrible interaction with our Neighborhood Security Guard. If he was rude to you as well, pls email me at bczanoni@comcast.net. Thanks My Msg Emailed to Bill R. regarding my situation: Bill, My husband left you a message and you never called us back. The Pablo Bay Security Guard/Cop has pulled me over twice and been very rude to me. The first time he pulled me over I asked for his identification, as he IS in an unmarked vehicle and he started screaming at me saying rhetorically "You gotta problem with cops?" he was completely rude to me and screamed at me over the course of our entire interaction. I was nervous and scared since he had been very rude to me and when he told me the fine for my supposed infraction, I nervous laughed, once again he screamed at me "Is there something funny about that? What are you laughing at?" By the time he was done with me I was in tears and shaking. For 2 weeks and even now I drive our neighborhood scared to death of this man WHOM MY DUES PAY. He once again pulled me over two weeks later I feel out of complete retaliation as I came to a complete and total stop, even enough of a stop to look left down Golden Reeds and see a bounce house and right to see him. I will not live in fear of this man. I am reporting him to the Jacksonville Police Dept. and to you. I will be at the Board Meeting to discuss this further. I am not going to live in fear as a 36 year old Stay at Home Mom who pays my Dues to live here and is a VERY SAFE DRIVER!! I also parked and watched him for a lot of the day after he pulled me over, and I noticed that many people were rolling through the stops without ever applying their brakes at all and he NEVER pulled them over, the difference however is that they were driving high-end vehicles. I drive a Jeep during the day and we keep out Cadillac in the garage, sure enough I started driving it and he doesn't even look at us. This is discriminatory and will also be reported. We have a crime problem in this neighborhood, my cars have been rifled through, my neighbors purse was stolen from her garage, and in Oct we had an attempted break in and NOW I must also be scared of this Rent-a-cop that my dues pay. Ridiculous, as he said himself...I have a clean driving record no tickets of any kind since 1997. I am calling the County Clerk and disputing this charge for Failure to Stop, if I end up having to pay the city to keep my record clean I will be taking the $145 out of my Association Dues. Thank you Christie Zanoni

I can't remember a time that I wanted to brag on someone that I hired to do work at my house. Sunshine Gutters completed the installation at my home two years ago. They were moderately priced and followed through on the appointments so I selected them. After the installation I didn't like something and they came out in 24 hours to change it, no charge. Later, a storm did some damage and they came out in 48 hours to complete the repair, no charge. I am a Raving Fan and there is no gain for me to share this with you. 3725 Cross Water Sunshine Gutters 904-424-0281

My husband and I came into your neighborhood looking at a possible rental we had heard about and I saw your website address posted on the sign. I have veiwed your site and found it to be quite informational but would like to suggest one thing. It would be nice to see a section of the site dedicated to homes which are for rent and/or for sale. Just a thought, as that is what I was hoping to find when I came to your site.

The condition of some of the property in Pablo Bay is deplorable. Many lawns are weed infested, un-mowed & un-fertilized. I know there are several homes in foreclosure. As a community, we should have the necessary maintenance done and put a lien on the property to cover the expense. Additionally, it is my understanding that all rental properties are for single family only. This is not the case for the following property: 13899 White Heron Place. There are three possibly four single men living at that property. We need to enforce the covenants and restrictions if we hope to maintain the stature of Pablo Bay.

We're still getting kids trying to cut through property to get to the Target Mall. Thanks to Mike Tolley for following a couple of them last week. One of the kids had a spray paint can in his hand - God only knows what he intended to do with that. They said they had permission to cross our neighbor's property, but when I asked the neighbor about that - his response was "No Way!". Please reinstate the Discussion Forum. Thanks.

HEY!! sorry i dont know where the discisson foum went and i have a quetion for everyone! I Just wondering if ANYONE has had any PROBLEMS with their "KB" HOMES? such as LEAKS, CRACKED TILE, ANY KIND OF PROBLEMS THAT WOULD BE THE BUILDERS FAULT. Please let me know- We have had to have MULTIPLE THINGS fixed and a couple of those done OVER AGAIN. And now KB is NOT wanting to fix the cracked tile again from the house settling. And they are saying that they only warranty it once. But we have had A LOT of problems with this house and think it should be fixed. This is a safety complaint against Pro-Cut lawn maintenance group that parks their vehile and trailer in the turn-thru from Cross Water onto Painted Bunting when they are moving lawns on Cross Water. When you try to turn from Cross Water to Painted Bunting, your vision is totally blocked as to any oncoming traffic coming on Cross Water. We are going to have a bad accident there. That is no place to park. Thanks for your help.

My family is excited to be moving into our new home in Pablo Bay. We have met some of our neighbors and look forward to meeting more. My husband is a serious tennis player and hopes to put the court to good use. Our daughter played tennis for her high school team. I'm sure you will see them on the court regularly! I thought at one time there was a Pablo Bay business directory for homeowners to advertise their businesses. If not, would you consider applying one to the website?

Thanks Tylor... I've been working on this site for the past 2 years... Believe it or not, your comment is the first and only feedback comment I've ever received. I guess not too many people visit this feedback section or don't know you can click the "Add Your Comments" and have it displayed here.  Thanks again!
